Hi all
I am new to CWs and have just purchased a C60 Trident item ref C60 43 A SKKS COSC.
Can anyone tell me about this watch - I assume it is a 300m but does it have the 5 day power reserve?

Re: Newbie CW Owner
Hello and welcome.
I have looked at the CW Archive to see if I can find the model number you quoted.
My suspicion is that it is not the five day movement because that usually has something like 5DA in the code. So it’s probably a COSC version of the ETA 2824-2 or the Sellita SW200-1.
I’m pretty useless with codes, but I suspect someone who knows much more than I will be along before long.
Meanwhile, do pop over to the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself.

Re: Newbie CW Owner
The code you have listed is either too many digits or is missing 1 or 2. f you could post a photo I am certain we can identify the exact model.
The C60 COSC models can be very confusing.

From the link you've given, it would seem your watch is a C60 Trident Automatic COSC, which was one of the Mk1 C60 Tridents. See here for lots of details:

Re: Newbie CW Owner
As Welshlad stated and linked to, if that is the watch then the coded number is incorrect on the paperwork. The code to match the photo is
C60-COSC-SKS as shown in your link..
To my knowledge there is no CW watch with a code of C60-43-SKKS-COSC. The closest for this code would have been this model. It was originally released in 2015 and discontinued in 2018, but was not a Limited Edition. It is possible that some of the original codes were listed this way at time of release, but the codes were starting to change in 2016 and were all converted by January 2017. Either way the code is incorrect for the watch shown. The watch shown was also discontinued/sold out in November of 2014.
Also ......How to post photos.

Re: Newbie CW Owner
A possible explanation to the difference / anomaly on codes is that, whilst the original LE run of the C60 MkI COSC (C60-COSC-SKS) was sold 2012 - 2014, there were a couple sold more recently in one or more of CW's half yearly Clearance / Nearly New Sales.
I know, as I bought one 'nearly new' in July 2018.
As Kip has stated by this time, July 2018, the coding system had changed hence the adoption of the nearest suitable code under the new system of C60-43-SKKS-COSC.
Make sense?

Yes; its 300M WR and no, it doesn't have the 5 day power reserve.

Re: Newbie CW Owner
Yes that makes sense
The watch is a limited edition 304/500 - on the CW paperwork and on the rear of the watch
Original invoice paperwork says 2018
So, it is C60 Trident Pro 300 COSC LE
Thanks for all the information.

Re: Newbie CW Owner
I have this very watch. It's an ETA chronomoter. Not sure of the power reserve, but certainly not 5 days. More like 2 at most. 300m water resistance though. Says it on the front
It's a great, great watch! Congrats on your first CW. Warning, CW are a gateway drug. It never ends!!!

^^^ Power reserve is 40 hours.
You never need to speculate on these matters. As ever, the CW Archive is your friend.
