For me, the basic Automatic. But I would imagine there would be quite a bit of interest for the GMT as well.

All of them have to happen, don't they? probably the GMT for me.
So that's 1 of each in blue sold already.

I want to see additional super compressor colorways!jkbarnes wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 10:56 pm Are there any new CW models in the pipeline to look forward to this fall? I don’t mean to wonder if someone has insider information, but something more along the lines of other things hinted at earlier in the year that we haven’t seen yet.
Honestly, after the release of the C63 Sealander line and some of the other great models, it feels a bit greedy to even ask the question!

The C60 Aero was teased in Issue 19. I don't know if it is still scheduled to be released.

That became the C63 Sealander Elite, with retractable crown. Didn't it?Squalus wrote:The C60 Aero was teased in Issue 19. I don't know if it is still scheduled to be released.

Re: Any new CWs in the pipeline?
in general I continue to have doubts about CW's long-term strategy.
If on the one hand it is true that planning new models is essential (and captivating for fans), on the other hand, constantly changing the catalog does not help to identify the iconic models of the brand, so every timepiece is destined to remain on the wave for no longer. a few years.
Furthermore, I find it absurd that there is not even a real dress in the catalog (no watch is under 39 mm).

I would argue that 3 of the most iconic models from CW are the C3 Malvern Chronograph, C5 Malvern and the C60 Trident.Sinbad wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 9:24 am in general I continue to have doubts about CW's long-term strategy.

The C3 and C5, which both launched the company in June of 2005, were in the lineup for over 14 years. Yes they both received facelifts and refreshing over the years, but that is a pretty good track record for longevity. Both, I believe fell victim to the declining demand fro dress watches and, in the case of the C3, add in the decline for quartz from CW.
The C60 Trident, which was developed from the original Kingfisher Forum Limited Edition (2007), was launched in Sept of 2009. It remains to this day and CW is beginning preparations for another evolution. That is 12 years so far and that is likely to continue for at least another 4-5 years.
I would venture to say that there is no more identifiable model from CW than the C60 Trident.
Sure there have been variants of all of the above, but the core model remained, especially with the C60.

Re: Any new CWs in the pipeline?
I agree with you: the C60 is definitely the most recognizable and, I think, the most successful model.
Now, you know very well its evolutions over the years, I struggle to find another equally recognizable watch from a competitor brand that has changed so quickly and constantly in an enormous amount of detail: bezel, hands, indicators, dimensions, font, logo, etc.
This is mine, 38mm, just to give a practical example:

Allow me, if there is no commercial offer, demand can only disappear

Re: Any new CWs in the pipeline?
The commercial offer was there. The watches were available. It is no coincidence that the 595 and the C3 both ended up in the sales. People were not buying them in large numbers. Demand had already begun to disappear.
I think that was Kip’s point.
