Lets play guess the date

Post by bearcatrunner »

So who wants to try and guess the date for the big CW sale that is supposed to be coming up? We should probably include a two hour time window using British Summer time. Not sure if it is a bad idea but kind of limited on the dates.

I will start by guessing July 5th between 9am to 11am BST.

Well someone is not playing by the rules. Take a serious guess. It is just for fun. Does anyone have the dates and approx times of previous sales?

I'll guess the 7th, probably at 3PM so I get home from work to see the leftovers having been at work when the announcement e-mail went out

So they send out a preview email before the sale starts? So you have a little time to lurk and then the next day you can pounce.

Don’t worry, you will be able to buy most of them within a day or two. At a premium of course.

It's always on a date when I'm out all day playing golf so 8th and/or 9th July.

Do they tend to find a few old watches down the back of the sofa in the sale or just discount what’s currently on the website? I’m after a C8 Worldtimer so wondered if I might have a shot in the sale

It’s not uncommon at all to see older models show up in the sale.
