C65 yellow - which strap?
C65 yellow - which strap?
I haven't worn this since getting it. I am just struggling to find the right strap. I thought I would have one more go with a couple of striking horoloholics NATO's.
Any love for these?

Re: C65 yellow - which strap?
Neither of them for me sorry, but these vintage divers look great on Tropic rubber straps.
Steve's (Thermexman) yellow C65 looked really good on a black Zuludiver Tropic strap. Or, you could go all out and get the yellow one that Guy wears on his C60 Chrono.
Other than that, something black with yellow accents like the Hirsch Andy would be my suggestion.

None of the above
I think it goes nicely with the CW black tropic rubber strap tbh (and I’m not usually a fan of rubber straps).

Re: C65 yellow - which strap?
It's not black and red, it's dark green and red. The edge stripes of those straps are sort of neon/fluorescent. I have another one as well, but it clashes also. They are all quite vivid. I don't mind the clashing colours, as the yellow isn't exactly a quiet colour.
Thanks to all for your responses.
I am not keen on the yellow strap pictured. Just seems too much yellow. I will try a black non leather, sailcloth type, and a hybrid, although I don't have the right colour hybrid. I have orange and blue rubber to try, but I am not keen on rubber as a texture. I also have a C65 bracelet, but that's staying on my blue C65.

I dont know what the watch arrived on but I found it looked at its best on the bracelet. I would recommend you try that and I am sure you wont be disappointed.

Have you tried a mesh strap or the CW black hybrid? The mesh or a black tropic would differently give you the retro aesthetic.

Not sure about the NATOs.
Yellow tropic looks excellent as a vibrant Holiday watch combo.
Personally I go for something like a WatchGecko Yellow Flyboard Leather/Rubber Water-Resistant watch strap

Re: C65 yellow - which strap?
It came on the bracelet, but I wanted the bracelet for the blue C65. It actually looks ok on the camel leather that the blue C65 was supplied with. I thought the bracelet with the yellow was too much pale, if you see what I mean. Possibly because the yellow LE has a SS bezel rather than a black bezel.

Watchgecko have a QR black sailcloth range including one with yellow stitching if you prefer something contemporary rather than the retro look?

A black leather NATO would work well I think too.

Re: C65 yellow - which strap?
It's a bit of a 'Summer watch' and I do like a canvas strap in summer. Black or grey would show the yellow face off nicely.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

I like mine on the Watchgecko Vintage Tropic as Ryan stated. It’s Very comfortable.
