Very good, that caught me off guard and made me laugh far more than I expected to!

Not for me - colour, see-through dial, 9o'clock logo, black screws on dial

I was just considering an orange Doxa last night. This is interesting!

I quite like that, I had to look it over a few times to decide that I did. On first inspection it reminded me of the colour you see when people come out of those fake tanning salons. Least the dial is balanced with the twin flag at 12, the logo at 9 and the DW at 3. It looks very nice on the tide strap, too.

So my only frustration is with the $125 off coupon I am still above the $800 for U.S. import. It is just a hassle dealing with DHL. Not a deal breaker, just frustrating.

Looks very much Burnt Orange as opposed to Tangerine; in Kingfisher parlance.

In the words of Graham Taylor from the yellow pages ad following the World Cup. Do I not like orange.

Not for me, but will certainly appeal to some. Reminds me too much of Haribo starmix.

They didn't add the date window because we can't count, its for visibility purposes. Anyone that has a Sapphire can attest to the fact that dependent on lighting, you can't see the numerical wheel. For example, being indoors with the Sapphire, you can barely tell its a transparent dial.

That would suggest that dependent on lighting, you can see the numerical wheel!

Orange wouldn’t be my first choice, but I’m glad to see CW thinking about different colour options for the sapphire.

Now, if they ever decided to do a yellow version…

J0EMI wrote: Thu Jun 17, 2021 5:46 pm I think the lack of orange highlight on the bezel was possibly intentional, with it maybe being too much orange with the already vibrant dial. The red C60 Sapphire I think works well with the red highlight on the bezel only because it only had red accents on the markers rather than a red sapphire dial. Here is an idea of how it would look, I think I prefer the black but that's just me :)

That's a fair point, although I think it's a little too bright on your mock up. Maybe the dial changes hue too much under different lighting to get a decent match on the bezel.

If you think of the colours CW used for the C60 Trident Mk2 316L LEs, I'll advocate there will be a fair chance of getting a C60 Sapphire in yellow.

Plenty of options for alternative colours still available. :)

I don't particularly like the style of the watch, although I like the dial colour and the bezel.

Orange screws would have been better than black, as would a colour coded date window or wheel. I understand why they went with black. But it stands out in the wrong way to me.

Earlier, the orange Doxa was mentioned, any would be my preference for an orange dialed watch.
