Well that joy didn’t last long!
Well gutted to say the least.
My just arrived elite has a smudge or scuff on the underside of the crystal. And yes it is on the underside
After all that wait.

Really gutted for you Paul
Hopefully they will get it sorted asap for you, ideally a new replacement.

Someone at QC needs to go to Specsavers !
That's a real shame, hopefully it will be a quick resolution.

Becoming more and more common judging from the various posts. Poor QC and doesn't look good for them on a brand new release.

That's a shame Paul. I'm sure they will sort that for you quickly, however surprising that got dispatched as it does seem quite noticeable even from a distance.

To be fair it isn’t as obvious as in those photos and it is a small scuff but I am still surprised and disappointed that it wasn’t seen. I imagine they were steaming through quite a few of them and it just got missed.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 8:26 pm That's a shame Paul. I think the watch looks fantastic so as long as it is replaced very promptly I will live with the nuisance factor.
Cheers now, Paul

From the photo, to me, it looks like it reaches from about 59 sec to 2 sec. It also looks like it is buggered antireflective coating to me. Regardless of the number of watches coming through QC should be tighter. Even if it would delay things by a day or two. Better happy customers than what did happen. I can also imagine that things are still a little shaky from lockdowns and the process needs to be tightened up which will come with time.stefs wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 8:47 pmTo be fair it isn’t as obvious as in those photos and it is a small scuff but I am still surprised and disappointed that it wasn’t seen. But for the unfortunate blemish, do you like the watch? The blemish is quite unfortunate, and doesn’t speak well to CW’s quality control.

Feel for you Paul
...this really shouldn't happen - very poor show
I'm sure that it will get sorted but the experience, saga, indeed wait, for a replacement will, no doubt, leave a bad taste in the mouth - it doesn't really inspire confidence.
