Sorry to hear this, Paul. I hope they sort you out with a new one soon, especially as you seem so taken with the watch.

That really is disappointing. I think CW is starting to compete at a price point where the QC really needs to be spot on, and I don't think it is. Flaws will always get missed, but it seems to be happening with too much frequency.

Everyone is quite right to say that that watch should not have left Maidenhead. In truth, it should never even have arrived in Maidenhead. It should never have left Switzerland.

Two people who know what they’re doing, at each end of the chain and armed with a loupe, really should be able to spot something like that.

I hope it gets fixed for you quickly. Sorry, I meant replaced. I think there could be a job for the Man from Del Monte.

What a disappointment that must be. Good to see that you are taking a reasonable approach to the problem. It's not the end of the world is it? Still, a prompt replacement is surely in order rather that messing you about with a repair.

A repair is not even in the equation! As it is within 30 days I am entitled to a full refund or a replacement. 1st world problem eh!

CS has come back to me this morning and they are sorting a replacement for me. Very pleased and can look forward to getting a 10/10 one (hopefully).
Cheers now, Paul
