The risk was with CW, usual CW arranged DHL pickup on their account. However, I 'm still impressed with the redress, finding me a brand new watch with a new 60-60 is beyond the call of duty in my experience.

I suspect the risk will actually end up with DHL.

Depending on CW's account tariff structure. If they insure, it will.

That's a great result and a really nice looking watch. When did they stop selling this watch BTW?

There were a couple in the January sale, but officially last summer.

Still sooo disappointed they discontinued the C8PR line. You would think at some point they would settle on 1 or 2 models to keep as irreplaceable CW representatives. Many of you will disagree, but these are such a distinct design, and so well made, they would certainly get my vote.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

I'm with you. The C8PR is at least the equal of any Pilot out there (IWC in mind) unbelievable bargain at the price CW charged. These will be enduring classics.

That is quite a story. What an emotional roller coaster that must have been. Well done CW CS, well done indeed. This is how you build brand loyalty and and ambassador for life.
