I'd initially had the Chrono running to time a piece of Gammon that I was simmering for Sunday lunch but that completed, as so often is the case I omitted to stop it.

That's exactly the way I would have my bronze bezel (if I had one). Patina on the flats with the numbers cleaned. Really make the whole thing pop. Well done.

Thanks guys. Confess I was a bit worried I would make a mess of the lower surface of the bezel but it came out relatively unscathed..
