I hadn't realized it was 42mm Guy !!
Really makes it very special and much nicer in my eyes especially with the nice patina.

Seems like a sensible place to share some prototype pics...
Not a white dial at all but very pale silver. Also doesn’t have black edged hour markers at all, just hands. So like others have said, not exactly what they thought they’d ordered, but pretty cool nonetheless! Quite a ‘what the future might look like in the 70s’ vibe...
I know a couple of other people on here were keen on it, but hopefully the real life pics have put you off and reduced any disappointment! Fortunately for me it’s the only C65 Automatic I’ve ever really liked so might have to take a place in the permanent collection!
PS. Thanks again to everyone who had a hand in the sale...
...I was after this one in the last prototype sale back in January and missed it, plus never found who bought it! However it seems they didn’t like it so sent it back. Not a white dial at all but very pale silver. Also doesn’t have black edged hour markers at all, just hands. Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Re: CWL of the day
The more I see this model the more I like it. The blue and brass works so well together; and that strap is a perfect match.

Very hard to show off the unique details of this watch but your photo does it very well

Re: CWL of the day
Having worn my C60 Trident Mk3 Bronze P'type yesterday, I thought I'd go back to my Mk2 GMT LE today.
