This is the first new watch in a long time that I’ve really been looking forward to seeing photos of. That’s your task for the day.

I will see what I can do - although I do have cricket to watch, bikes to clean, floors to vacuum etc.
I'm sure I'll find some time!

Here’s the first of many… unsized, some stickers still on etc.
Edit. That's a very poor quality phone picture.

Looks very good. I’ll be interest to hear if it feels odd wearing a watch with no obvious crown.

I have a feeling that this thread could be kept busy over thee next couple of days...
@downer Really looking forward to hearing your observations, certainly where the crown is concerned.

That looks great! I’m really excited now to see more real world pics. I can only imagine how this would look in the deep blue of the SC.

May I remind those with incoming C63 Elite's of the Reference Gallery.

^^^^ That's rather fabulous Richard.
The tide strap suits it well.

@downer - if you could only post pictures that don't do the watch justice that'd be really useful for my wallet

OK, here's a few more.sproughton wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 1:09 pm @downer - if you could only post pictures that don't do the watch justice that'd be really useful for my wallet
Initial impressions are very positive. I like the lightness, the dial cut-outs are not noticeable (to my eyes) on the wrist and the crown in/out action feels robust.

That looks great! Is this the lightest watch you own? And how does that feel- in any way a bit insubstantial? Or rather GODO because it’s not too cumbersome? I have an empty slot in my watch box and I have to admit I’m intrigued!
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

OK, you caused me to go and weigh all my watches...
The C63 weighs 96g on the bracelet (set up for my wrist) and about 55g on the Tide strap.
The closest I have to this is my Damasko DA20 at 88g on a reasonably thick leather strap. The rest of my watches are on bracelets and range between 125g (Rolex Explorer II) and 190g (Sinn UX).
In day-to-day wear I reckon the C63 will be in the "unnoticeable" category, which (for me) stretches up to about 150g. Above that, I have a few with some weight "presence" (e.g. IWC Ingenieur at 165g, Bremont S300 at 174g) and a couple that could be described as "heavy on the wrist" - the PO at 184g and the UX at 190g.
The "unnoticeable" watches are probably easiest to wear to go anywhere, do anything simply because they never remind you of their size or weight, and therefore, never get in the way.
Is the C63 insubstantial? I would say it is not, but the only way to find out is to try one.
