OK, you caused me to go and weigh all my watches...
Sorry for making you weigh all your watches while the cricket’s on!

Thanks for the detailed reply.
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

My eye seems to be recognising the cutaway parts of the dial as part of the rehaut, thus creating the effect of a smaller dial and a broader rehaut. What are others seeing, I'm sure that's different for different people?

Same, my eyes see the dial end where the indexes end. I think the proportions look good, and it looks great on the wrist!

I was also a day one, hour one order-placer. I have nothing from CW yet. Maybe shipments to the US will be despatched next week. I hope so.

From the pics, I’m seeing it the same way. And I see this (bad pun intended) as a good thing. I suspect this watch would wear perfectly on my wrist!

No, mine still says “Being prepared for despatch”, and I check almost every hour since first seeing this change last Thursday. I also note no payment has yet been taken, so it won’t be arriving tomorrow.

You are not alone! I was told on Friday mine was being picked and would hopefully be despatched that day but worst case scenario would be for despatch Monday ( today).
No changes to status still.
Hopefully be worth it when/ if they arrive. I have concerns because my last order got lost in their system and somehow the payment was cancelled at their end and it was only when I rang them it came to light and they got it sorted and despatched.

Not sure if it's been covered yet but Bell and Ross did a retractable telescopic crown in 2001.

Yes, one arrived with me today and Ì wish we were bonding...I can't bring myself to size the bracelet... :problem: :( I'm not getting it at all....yet

Why might this be?

I think I'm so, just well so conditioned to a watch case having projecting architecture on one side that the concealed (and very slim) crown is incongruous.

I've put the watch next to my two C65s and the titanium of the C63 doesn't quite pop in the same way as the steel of the C65 cases and the Anthropocene is dear to my heart.

I've always felt that first impressions matter, well my first impressions were gained from the web launch zoom and at that point I was motivated.

Wasn't there some talk of an "Aqua Terra moment"? well, no, not here. Could I explain the dial cutouts to a friend? Well, they aren't there for thermal reasons.

I keep thinking about a really dark green dial, really dark, and I think that would look good. It would work well with the AR.

So, and this is always an issue with too many watches and not enough time, when would I wear the C63 Elite instead of grabbing my C65 Elite? Ask me tomorrow afternoon.

Hmm, from some angles there's a bit of a Rolex Explorer thing going on.

Yes, maybe ask me tomorrow afternoon when I've either popped a strap on or sized the bracelet.

That's interesting. What is it that's different in the flesh to the pre-order photos?
