Bit confused on the C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition

Post by oesman »

Hey Guys,

Looking to pull the trigger on the C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition tomorrow morning. It's not a huge deal for me, but I see some conflicting review, user manual, and website spec information. For example a lot of reviews and even a pdf manual suggest it's a 300 piece run, but website says it's 500. Did this change? Also a lot of reviews reference an in-house movement, but specs say a Sellita SW200. None of this is keeping me from ordering, because it seems like a beautiful watch and honestly very well priced for the looks and features based on videos/photos. Just curious why the variances?

Thanks, so from looking there it seems like there were several releases and the 2019 one was the 300 count? Either way I've pulled the trigger on the current one for sale :)!

Excellent, glad we could help! The archive is really worth exploring; it’s extremely comprehensive and a lot of work went into it and continues to go into it!

Why not pop over to the Member Introduction section and start a thread telling us about yourself and of course your watches?

I imagine when they get a sucessful limited edition model they can re-release it as a new limited edition with some variation, maybe the dial, hands, bezel, etc. The CW bronze versions are very attractive.

Thanks guys!

Probably won't get it this week, looks like stuck in customs with "Shipment on hold". Not sure if missing paperwork, will try to call DHL.

It is unlikely to be 'missing paperwork' as CW provide details of the shipment / package digitally en masse on a daily basis, to DHL.

The local office of DHL and/or Customs just need to read the right file.

If there are any queries, just get in touch with CW Customer Service, don't go down the rabbit hole of trying to provide information to DHL yourself.

Good luck.

That make sense, I'll give them a call and see if they can nudge DHL :)
