To me, the name invokes more of a land exploration watch that can also dabble in water. And that's how I view what this collection is. I preordered the white GMT last night and when it arrives it will be my primary tool watch. The Hamilton mechanical is great when water isn't going to be much of a concern, but I'm not going to push it (even though 50m can handle a decent amount if the seals are good).
