Sealander Name at 12
Sealander Name at 12
I'm so pleased to see the name revert to the position on the dial that it should have stayed in, in the first place!! :0)
It makes the watches look so much better.
I understand that some say they aren't bothered by the placement but there have been many more saying they don't like it.
Yet, I have never come across anyone saying they don't like to see names/logos at the 12 position on any makes!!!

See Logonogo, p26 in the Watchaholic's alternative dictionary thread. Personally I'm inclined to agree with you.redmonaco wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:54 am I'm so pleased to see the name revert to the position on the dial that it should have stayed in, in the first place!! :0)

I love the logo at 9 and would go so far to say that it was quite a factor in attracting me to the brand in the first place.

Re: Sealander Name at 12
So now we all have some CW watches that have the name in what each of us consider the correct place.biggus_richus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 4:57 pm I love the logo at 9 and would go so far to say that it was quite a factor in attracting me to the brand in the first place.

Absolutely not and nor the CWs that have them there!
Just the occasional reminder that other opinions on the logo are available...

Re: Sealander Name at 12
This comes up in the WatchGecko podcast with Mike France. It’s his eventual aim to get there, but the C7 range was perhaps too soon and not popular enough.

As an engineer I so much prefer the symmetry of The name at 12pm. Even better than that I would prefer no name and just the logo that appears debossed on the watch face
