Thanks Guy. Was hoping one had been shipped out for review by now but guess not.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 2:33 pmI don't believe it is out 'in the wild' yet, Michael, as it has been slated as Pre-Order end of May, since it was released.
Additionally, it doesn't appear to have been reviewed by any of the usual suspects yet.

Thank you for the measurements and images! Much appreciated to both of you.
My wallet isn’t thanking you however... it’s going to be significantly lighter in a moment... The white dial is so clean and stunning.

Very helpful comparison....appreciate your postAlphaLimaGolf wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 12:57 pm For those wondering about dial size, it's actually almost 1mm wider than the 42mm C60 trident's dial - see photos below with callipers. I have also included my 40mm Tissot Gentleman for reference.

Make sure you use the £100 off code: 100loupe21

Sadly, the coupon code doesn't seem to work for the pre-orders.

^^^ Yep good to know the size of the crystal. As expected bigger than on a dive watch that is a few mms larger.
Clearly well designed and a sensible size.
I reckon this means that is ample scope to introduce a proportionally reduced size model with a 36mm case that would still wear well on a 7” wrist.
IIRC from the MF interview that I listened to - a further model smaller than the 39mm, is far more likely than a larger one.

Ah ha. 100LOUPE21 is for £100 off on the UK website.Father Goose wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 4:48 pm

If @FatherGoose you are working on the USA website it will be 125LOUPE21 for $125 off purchases over $600.
Whether the item is in-stock or on pre-order makes no difference.
Hope that helps.

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
I'm enjoying my white auto, although there's a little niggle that's bothering me somewhat - whenever there's a strong light overhead, or reflecting off the crystal, there's this halo effect around the edge of the dial that's visually distracting.
I don't know if this is a common thing with some types of watch crystal, but it's not present on my other watch, so maybe I'm just not used to it?
Does this look normal to you guys?

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
^^^ hello and welcome.
It looks fine to me. Looking at the crystal, it appears to be slightly raised with bevelling at the edge where it joins the case. That is what will be causing the light effects. It’s the same with the box crystal, if you look at it from a low angle, especially in oblique lighting such as early morning or late afternoon sun, you get all sorts of interesting effects. All part of the charm.
Congratulations, enjoy your new watch and the forum!

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
Hey Steve, thanks for the info.
So does that mean the C63 uses a flat crystal? I think my other watch is domed.
Edit: ah, so now I know what a box crystal is. Good to know.

You are in a better position than I am to make that call. I was just going from your photo and the ones on the website; I haven’t actually handled the watch.

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
Likewise, I've not handled a Sealander yet, but knowing that CW generally favour flat crystal and looking at the myriad of photos in here and those on CW's website, I'd say it is a flat crystal but raised above the level of the bezel, and with a bevelled edge.
Its the raised with bevelled edge aspect that refracts light and gives the halo effect on the dial.
