Valuation? CW C5 Aviator mk2

Post by shrink »

Dear All,

I'm considering moving on my cherished C5 mkII Aviator. I've had it for some 12 years now and it was my first ever swiss watch at the tender age of 27. Now somewhat older and having expanded my collection, it rarely see's any wrist time, and I feel perhaps it would be better in the hands of someone who would get more use out of it.

Question is, what is a C5 Aviator mk2 worth these days? It would be boxed, with original papers. Original strap plus a brand new Hirsch Buffalo Grain on a quick release.

Its slightly speculative at this stage, but genuinely have no idea what to even think about listing this at.

Oh, its a C5 AKK (black face, black strap, albeit now with a brown grain strap).

While we cannot discuss the individual value on the forum if you check the CWArchives resales you will come up with a history for sales for the C5 Aviator Mk II.

I bought a pretty good condition Mark 1 Aviator in late Feb 2021 for £236 - it would have neen a few quid cheaper but a 'zero feedback' bidder didnt seem to know what he was doing !
