C70 resurgence.....forum trend spotted?
C70 resurgence.....forum trend spotted?
Just a forumite observation. It feels like the C70 lineup has received a bit of an attention renaissance since the calendar rolled over to 2021. I'm kind of enjoying it!
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

It does appear that way
...it seemed to kick off with the DBR1/2 that came up on eBay the other week.

Re: C70 resurgence.....forum trend spotted?
I like seeing the posts. I’ve always loved the C70 line up, and had been tempted on a number of occasions to purchase the C70 FR 1906. What always held me back was the size of the watch and simply not feeling I had the self-confidence to pull off wearing such a bold design.
They really are things of beauty!

They are indeed but, obviously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.jkbarnes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 6:24 pm I like seeing the posts. Trying to find a good one is challenging 'cause those aluminum painted bezels don't half take a beating.

Fantastic Richard and has obviously been treasured
...and love the model that you got the other day to go with it (as seen in another thread)
I was lucky enough to pick up a mint condition DBR1 COSC the other week ...and have an excellent condition Monte Carlo on the way.

Cheers Ferg
I felt very similar about them, i.e. too busy.
(which is also the way I feel about a lot of the Breitling offerings)
However, I've always been a big motorsport fan (both as a participant and viewing)
Funny how tastes change over the years.
