First post here guys - please be gentle...
Long time CW owner starting with the C9 Worldtimer, but one of my most recent acquisitions was the beautiful C60 Apex, which I think is my favourite watch in the whole collection.
I’ll have to sort out a signature at some point to index them, but just a question on CW boxes first: some of my older LEs have lovely or unique boxes, but the Apex was in a standard coffin.
Did anyone else get anything different with their C60 Apexes? Pretty sure the C7 Apex came in the beehive box, but just interested. Happy Friday (nearly) to you all!

Re: C60 Apex LE Special Box?
Welcome to the forum.
I've got a C60 Apex, bought new in October '19, that came in the 'standard coffin'.
I've also recently acquired a C7 Apex, bought by the original owner on release in October '18 that came in the 'Beehive Box'; which was the luxury box at the time in a light coloured wood, as opposed to the, then, standard box of the same size but in black cardboard or similar.
The reality of the situation is that (I believe), having introduced the 'standard coffin' in May '19 timed with the release of the C60 Trident Mk3, CW now use this for all watches and do not have a separate luxury / presentation box.

Re: C60 Apex LE Special Box?
Thanks Guy, that's somewhat reassuring and mirrors the same discussion on the CWE.
The box the Extreme came in was fantastic and I'm actually buying a watch in a beehive box soon, so I can swap with the Apex if ever needed!
I might even get a little metal plaque engraved and add it to the box, but we shall see...

Coffin, ha! Good description.
Unfortunately though, now every time I see the box I am going to think that. Thanks
