A Glowing Incoming!

Post by MichaelMD »

After several days of DHL insanity it finally arrived about 30 minutes ago. The Christopher Ward C1 Worldglow is here!

My initial reaction is this is a great looking watch. Sort of straddles the line of dress and sport watch. Definitely has a dressier vibe with the leather strap and beautiful polished case. But then the 43mm size helps it to double as a sports watch.

Fits me just fine but I have a larger wrist, in the 7.75" range. I really think the dial would be tough to pull off in a 40. Just SO much information on there.

Love the 24 hour GMT ring and really dig the search/radar beam for highlighting a city of your choice. Oh and the lume, yes that lume. Looks incredible, like nothing I've ever seen.

I'll give some more thoughts later after wearing it for a bit, but so far very happy with my newest addition and first Christopher Ward! Now on to the photos

That's spectacular, if it were a few mm smaller I would be sorely tempted to buy...alas not to be.

Nice glow! Good size for your wrist, too. You’re right though, the details would likely appear too small if it was 40mm.

Does the rotating city indicator highlight the city in red, or is London simply printed in red? I kinda hope it’s the former even though I suspect it’s not.

LONDON is printed in red. It's the only city that isn't white. Two good reasons for it. Home timezone of Christopher Ward, and the home timezone of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). If I'm wrong on this I'm sure my UK friends will correct me

Lovely photographs of a nice watch.

I could find my way to the bathroom all night long with that lume.

That is drop dead gorgeous, particularly the side profile of the case.

43mm? Perfect for my 7.5" wrist.
