Apex Family Picture

Post by jkbarnes »

I’ll admit, the title of this thread is clickbait, but hopefully Guy & Mark will feel obliged to make this happen...

So let’s see it guys! Can you post family photos of your two Apex watches side by side? And Guy, maybe an entire SH21 family photo? (and the exhibition backs, maybe?)

I looked too. :)

I can’t provide the photo asked for, but I’ve just taken a quick SH21 group photo.

I’m glad I could help :)

Yes, two C60 Apex watches. Luckily I own serial number 001, and I picked up a second on eBay. Only so that I can have one on a bracelet and one on a hybrid strap and not need to change them.

That is truly dedication right there... I keep my C65 hand wind Tridents all on different straps for the same reason (although they are all different face/material too), but this is a amazing setup with two C60 Apex

Hey Clach, I contacted you awhile back about that red/black dial C60. For some reason, I thought you had sold it? Thought I read that somewhere. But looks good! That is one awesome collection.

OK folks, here we go . ... .

The Apex Brothers - C60 Apex and C7 Apex

Ah but wait, we have an interloper! The SH21's German inspired JJ02 powered step brother;-

Good night. :D :D

Guy

NB> * the C60 Abyss SH212 'Deep dark' prototype is so named (by me) due to the dial and display case back being darker smoked than the eventual production version. The watch has an additional anomaly of having a WR rating on the dial of 600m / 2000ft, whereas the watch is only rated to 300m / 1000ft (the same as the C60 Apex).

You're ahead of the game gentlemen. I have reordered the photos and added some narrative.

Please take another look. :D :D
