Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
Give it a white dial, black hands and black outlined indices (like the Anthropocene), and blue markers, and I’d potentially be cracking open my piggy bank.

Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
I'm re-thinking the second crown. If they are going for an Aqua - Terra style watch as the name implies it probably wouldn't have a rotating inner bezel. Also, if Aqua Terra style is what they are after, I would guess the water resistance would be less than 600m as there is no need for 600m on an everyday watch. The Aqua Terra is 150m. This would allow them to have a thinner case, which is more flexible for an all around watch. Of course once you start slimming down the case and having less water resistance you are in C65 territory. Very confusingmvlow wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 4:06 pm I'm also wondering if there might be a second crown on the left side that you can't see in the Loupe illustration to turn the internal bezel. If it's a GADA watch it would make sense you could adjust that internal bezel for diving, but being internal the bezel isn't as prominent as an external bezel on a regular diver giving it a more slimmed down everyday look. I think you might be onto something there Jamz.

Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
Indeed. But that will be the case when one is trying to imagine the whole from a sketch.
As I said in another thread, I realise it's a fun exercise, but it might not pay to entrench one's thinking too deeply. The reality when it appears may exceed, eclipse or confirm some expectations; equally, the Law of Averages says that it will probably disappoint a few.

Well Done !!! Thank you . I wish I had your skills.Jaymz wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 12:07 pm After my other thread someone asked for this.
Made using stolen bits from other watches, chapter ring not perfect but easier to use than making one from scratch. I added a date window as I feel it will or should have one. Possibly its a bit big, but i ran out of time.
And please remember before you criticise the below. This took me two hours of my time to create for a complete stranger on the internet, and can you do any better?

Curious if we might be able to see your brilliant mock up with a white as well as blue dial (hoping that is 2 minutes work on your end). If it's any longer please don't spend any time on it.
I'm also aligned there will just be a standard crown and without a moveable chapter ring and accompanying second crown

I cannot contemplate a GADA watch without a date. Sorry, an Explorer doesn't cut it. AIMHO

?
The first visual, yes. Subsequently, no.
Not that one should take any of these musings too much to heart, CW will no doubt tread their own path - if they decide to go ahead.

Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
Great work on the visualisations @jaymz. It would be good for CW to do another great watch that isn't a diver. Hopefully a 38-40mm and not too tall.
Logo at 12 and date window at 6 (or no date) would be good too.
I came out in a cold sweat when I saw it was a GADA watch, I could only see MAGA

Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
Wow, that's sooner than expected if it materialises in that timeframe. I thought this would be 12 months or so. The prospect of the Aero Ti and Sealander in the same few months will generate some interest. If if if if if.......Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 11:25 amLater in the spring, probably.

Re: Sealander Amphibian Visualisation
Going on previous recent releases, they tend to be teased in the issue of Loupe before the actual launch. Adding the fact that it has been given a name, and I suspect that we will be seeing it before too long.
