My CW story part 2

Post by simmo140 »

"There's something special for you under the tree" my wife tells me over the telephone from South Africa. She's visiting her Mother, leaving me to my own devices. This is Christmas 2011. "What was it?" you ask? Well, you recall I returned three CW's after choosing the C7? One had made a reappearance. The C6 Kingfisher Pro! Blue being my favourite colour I was thrilled. The red sweep hand is lovely feature, one not seen on other colour faces. There is a story of how this watch was stolen in a burglary and later recovered (see my earlier posts), so with that journey, and, that it is engraved from my wife, it has great sentimental value. Again, it has had much use, I've even snorkelled with it (once).
The story continues. Don't miss the next thrilling episode

As a big fan of the C6's, I remember reading about the pilfered blue C6!
