Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
My sale piece arrived a day early.
Absolutely magnificent. I am... how do you say it? Chuffing at the bits? Let’s just say I’m very happy. Nearly new though arrived unequivocally in NEW condition, and 30% off for something I’ve been wanting for a long time.
Also arrived on a full moon, which made setting the moon phase easy! I guess you could say the stars aligned for me on this one.

Excellent all round Ajax, great photos and proof that shipping across the pond can work well.
That lume shot bodes well for the new C1 Worldglow.

Thanks - not as easy to find. It may mean that if any tasty pieces are added they may hang around a little longer, giving a better chance to buy.audio.bill wrote:You can still access it at: https://www.christopherward.com/int/sale even though they've removed it from their listed categories.

It's a bit pointless having a page that you can't navigate to from other pages. I found out the /sale page was still live because it came up automatically as a search result. I wouldn't have realised otherwise.

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
DHL has notified me that I have to pay $143 in import duties, or my watch is going to be returned. Never, ever has a shipping company extorted me like this.
I’m done with this topic, as I’m now beyond angry, but I will never buy another CW again. I’m not being shaken down like this by some half-wit, third-rate shipping company.
If I’d not paid half for the watch, it would be going back.

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
That's a shame and seems a bit of a drawn out process.
Are fees not due in the US when importing over a certain value?
I'm asking the question as I have no idea.

Re: CW January ‘21 Sale
I just paid $136 import duty for my Moonglow. Were you not expecting that? It’s mandatory any time you pay over $800 for a watch from outside the country.Robotaz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 3:47 pm DHL has notified me that I have to pay $143 in import duties, or my watch is going to be returned. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds like DHL and CW both messed the whole process up, but the import duty should be expected.
