C65 Anthropocene Limited Edition

Post by what-time-is-it »

£995 - £1095

When CW co-founder Mike France attended a performance of ‘Anthropocene’, a Scottish Opera production starring his daughter Jennifer, its message left a striking impact. An allegory for mankind’s lasting effect upon our planet, its Arctic setting provided the theme for this icy new GMT-ready C65.

With ‘Anthropocene’ a warning of our fractious relationship with our planet, 5% of the proceeds of the C65’s 300-piece run will be donated to ClientEarth – an environmental charity selected by Stuart and his librettist, Louise Welsh.

So The hand are BLACK which will please no end of forumites (and my apologies for suggesting that they are steel, working from the photos in the WindUp NYC thread).

From the 'Features' section of the website listing;- Black PVD-coated hands with orange GMT hand

Black hands on a white dial! I’m glad to see that they’ve seen the light and answered so many requests.

Now for the C60 white dial to have the same treatment...

Not as bad I first thought actually.

Very good indeed. Funny enough I am wearing my polar expii as I type. The black hands and markers makes a world of difference.

Well?

For those that are pining for a white dial, black hands, GMT and missed out on a potential Forum LE, you know where to come.
