As original poster I'll echo other comments that this review was for a MK2 C60 43mm and the Longines hydroconquest (I think released 2007?) with aluminium bezel insert. I have since sold the HC in preference for a 38mm MK2 GMT and later C60 Mk3 GMT 38mm.

Longines released a new HC with upgraded specs in 2018, which I havent handled and so cannot comment on, but I will say the Mk3 C60 is leaps and bounds ahead of anything ive owned in the £1000-£1500 price category.
