Discover #tide straps email-shot 22mm

Post by 5oclockhero »

Anybody else just receive a promotional sales email for tide straps....? There are 42mm watches to buy with 22mm straps but the straps are still unavailable as a standalone purchase !! Fancy getting my hopes up like that only to dash them immediately....

Just had the same email and had exactly the same thought… having received a Tide strap on my C63 GMT, I’d love a 22mm for some of my other watches (almost all are 22mm) :problem:
C1 - Bel Canto, Grand Malvern 5 Day
C5 - FLE
C60 - Concept
C65 - Cranwell, Super Compressor
C9 - 5 Day Small Seconds
Omega - Aqua Terra, SMP Nekton

22mm are valuable to buy separately. I think the black with red will make a perfect birthday gift to compliment my C65 AM GT LE.

Nice!

Though I’m still waiting for this tide strap to be available for standalone purchase

What’s the general consensus of the comfort of the #tide straps? If memory serves, people have said they’re stiff at first but soften up nicely with wear? What is the texture comparable to? Does it feel more like rubber or canvas or something all together different?

Looks like it’s just the red and white striped in 22mm at the moment.

I've been wearing mine off and on for a few weeks now (on my C63 GMT) and actually I've found it comfortable from day one... however, I also find the canvas webbing straps comfortable quickly too (these shape to your wrist quickly and do have leather inners though.

I'm so impressed that I'm going to order one for another watch... or (possibly) even order another watch with one already one

Any idea if the C60 22mm strap would fit a C65?

I'm thinking my 65 Super Compressor Black Sand would look ace on an orange tide to pick out the orange highlights :D Just worried that as its sold as a C60 strap there is some reason it won't fit a C65.

As long as it's 22mm it should fit the C65 Super Compressor.

I interchange my 22mm straps between C65 and C60 quite easily... the bracelets are model (and variant) specific, but straps are fine
