Great service
Noticed last Week my EB Canford SM Service watch was not working the way it should have been so checked with EB HQ and they decided that battery needed replacing. Boxed it up and sent it off. It got to them on Friday 19th. I got a phone call off then yesterday 26th and paid for the repair and P&...

Re: Irish Whiskey Recomendations
I don’t know any Irish stuff apart from Bushmills. Couple of new distilleries on line just now Annandale and Bladnoch both lowland ones. Bladnoch is not really a new one as it started over 200-years ago but was shut down for a few years and reopened about 3-years ago. There is another lowland one in...

Re: England has awesome fashion
Hello The Fish Guy. I used to work in a men’s outfitters. Anyone remember Dunn & Co? We used to sell a lot of Harris tweed caps & jackets so I’d definitely recommend you check out the Harris Tweed. It’s gorgeous and will last for ages. Ah Dunn & CO well remembered. My Uncle used to ship...

Re: England has awesome fashion
My wife just sees five pairs of brown shoes. I see full wingtips, long wingtips, short wingtips, semi-brogged cap toe, full-brogue cap toe, plane toe in walnut, chili, coffee, brown, and dark brown. Some are oxfords, some derbies. Hardly just 5 pairs of brown shoes! We’re about equal on close...

Re: England has awesome fashion
Ok so first I fell in love with C.W. watches, then I discovered the warmth and style of a Harris Tweed sport coat, my latest find is Barbuor waxed jackets or which is called oilskin here. How have I lived this long without knowing about waxed jackets? I have spent years either being wet or stuck in...

Re: England has awesome fashion
Harris Tweed is not English - it’s Scottish. Do not get these two countries mixed up, ever!
Now we have sorted that out here’s my recommendations: try Cordings of Piccadilly for British country wear in many different tweeds - Harris, Yorkshire and Irish. For shoes I like Loake or Crockett and Jones.
