Re: missF - March 2024
It has been fascinating to watch your development as a watch owner, wearer, enthusiast and burgeoning expert. Now…you and I both know we don’t have a great deal in common as far as colour and style are concerned, but we do appreciate quality, and that’s a fine collection. Well done, and here’s to th...

Re: Watch Storage
In general, best to let it stop. That’s just my opinion.
How many months? Even if not used consistently, a little exercise occasionally is good for them, as it keeps the lubricants moving.

Re: Power Reserve, "Stated v Real life"
It has never really bothered me because of the way I wear my watches: same watch for several days (or a couple of weeks on a trip) followed by several weeks in the box. Automatics stay wound and manuals are topped off daily, so it’s never an issue. I let new ones run down after a while and keep an e...

Re: Uncomfortable watching for anyone here?
It didn’t make me uncomfortable, but I did smile remembering the early days. Now that I have amassed an eclectic collection of decent watches with little repetition, I’m more relaxed. I bought one watch last year; from what I’ve seen so far I probably won’t be buying any this year.

Re: 50th birthday watch - Schofield The Light / General Purpose Field Watch
I know pete - no worries. You're a proper watchie who likes watches - for other people or for you. I was glad of your thoughts because often we're scared to disagree with anyone these days. And I think you're right - as little as I know myself this one seems to go with me well :D It’s an interestin...

Re: Six Nations 2024
@Bahnstormer_vRS Agreed. Any top team should be able to do that. The equivalent of taking it to the corner flag in football.
Back in the old days Winterbottom or Richards would have stuck it up his jumper, a static maul would form and that would be that.

Re: Six Nations 2024
Well played France. scooter Indeed. The table is interesting (taken from BBC website). If there were no bonus points, just 4 for a win and 2 for a draw, Italy would be above Scotland. Other places would remain unchanged. Look at the Points Difference for France, England and Scotland. It illustrates...

Re: Six Nations 2024
Interesting afternoon. Well done to Italy, great fighting performance by Scotland but the overall result was right.
France v England for 2nd. Will England regret a complete lack of bonus points in 4 games?

Re: Upgraded C1 Moonglow
Is this already available for purchase? All I see from the website is the c1 moonglow that has no details at all on the dial. I get how it appeals to many but not me. I like the one in the picture that @jtc posted. It’s on pre-order https://www.christopherward.com/dress-watches/c1-moonglow/C01-40AM...
