Re: CWL of the day

I employed a little elbow grease last night to turn the bezel and lugs on this back to their original brushed finish, rather than the polished finish a previous owner had given them. Personally, I think it looks much better and more in keeping with the aviator style. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.co...

Re: Do you like bronze watches?

Well ultimately these are not really my thing But ..... seeing some pics on this thread and other Forums does show how the watch style and even strap combo can work Giving the Bronze cases a pleasant weathered kind of look ...and they are certainly different from the norm However.... and its a purel...

Re: Parts for back catalogue watches

Interesting post this one regarding old model support I've just returned a C4 Peregrine (the re-issue one :D ) for a battery change and re-seal .... the bezel was slightly misaligned from new so i asked for CW to take a quick look whilst the watch was with them They mailed me a few days later to say...

Looks very nice on the wrist Guy and a beautiful visible rear movement

Its always more meaningful when a watch is purchased this way

Re: 20 Best Small Watches Under 38mm...

Thanks for the link  Interesting to me this as i had a "smaller watch " phase around 4-5 years back but have in fact come full circle back to 40- 42mm and even 44mm (depending on actual wear size) To my eyes the Breitling ,IWC and Oris all look as though the face/body design has had ...

Re: Watch Gecko Sale

^^^^^ Thanks for the info RichT. I’m on strap overload after the CW sale, but I’ll have a look at the Watch Gecko sale on the big screen when I get home  ^^^^ That Elliott Brown has the good habit of looking good on any strap - but, once again, I think it looks amazing on that strap ...
