Re: Bremont Supermarine 302 Mk II

I’m another Bremont fan and have had three of the S300/301 watches. My current is the black S300 and it’s a very well made, legible and comfortable watch. The Bremont cases are what really make them stand out for me and I really love the design. After CW, Bremont are my most owned brand. Regarding t...

Re: Don’t want to take it off…

Do you have a watch that - once it’s on - you just don’t want to take it off? It depends, let me explain. If I only had one watch, it could be any from my collection, I would happily wear it all the time and not worry about it. I took my IWC on a three week holiday as my only watch and wa...

Re: How Many Watches Do You Have?

I think we’ve figured out the best way to answer the question ‘how many watches do you have?’ so that you’ll never be bothered by any further intrusion: How many watches do you have? Roughly twelve - but only three of them have names  Teamwork, between us we’ve solved another problem.

Re: How Many Watches Do You Have?

^^^ . . . . . . . ‘I’m not telling you’ is the only possible answer. Must be emphatic  The more quizzical expression is; 'That's for me to know, and you to wonder'.  Trusting that they are a good friend who doesn't mind a bit of back handed humour. Re: How Many Watches Do You Have?

I’ve only own three watches. I also have some watches that are “on hire” however the “hire” cost just happens to be roughly the same as the cost it would have been to have purchased them. When the time comes to terminate the “hire” arrangement I will simply let someone else take over in exchange for...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement

Excellent news thanks for the update.

I was starting to worry that the FLE 2023 would be ordered and paid for in 2022, delivered in 2024, and we’d all have to wait even longer to get the case backs altered…..

Re: Pics from the walkers

Day two, Whitby to Staithes via Runswick bay. We’ve done about 14 miles so far. Now it’s back to the B&B for a shower before heading out for more refreshment. It’s been a very enjoyable couple of days but it’s back home tomorrow. IMG_1151.jpeg IMG_1153.jpeg IMG_1155.jpeg IMG_1162.jpeg IMG_1164.j...

@Bahnstormer_vRS It was still quite windy on those cliff tops and the weather is definitely starting to turn autumnal. At least it was sunny and dry.

Re: Pics from the walkers

Its my annual walking and drinking weekend (or is it drinking and walking?) with my mate this weekend. We usually visit the Lake District and base ourselves in Keswick but this year we’ve gone to Whitby and are walking part of the Cleveland way. Todays walk was from Whitby heading south along the ol...

^^^^ Yes, I get the no kids no swearing rules but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog in a pub that wasn’t well behaved.
