Re: Di Modell sharkskin
What about these ...
Black shark straps - Watch Band Centre
The Di-Modell is more expensive unfortunately, but there are plenty of others to choose from as well.

Re: In search of number 6
I think your right guy. I find myself being drawn more and more to aviation and field designs.
Also, I never thought I'd be considering a chrono, but I really do like the Sinn 356.
40mm is do-able although I prefer smaller, but 49mm L-L is a killer for me.

Re: In search of number 6
@thermexman - I really like the look of 103 and didn't realise these Sinn chronos could be had with the budget. I'll get myself to an AD once I've drawn up a shortlist. Would be nice to see a Sinn firsthand. @magicman - It has certainly crossed my mind. Of the reduced versions, there's an all blue d...

Re: In search of number 6
How about a Damasko DS30 I'm personally not that into Damasko's dial designs, plus after a little more thought, it'd be preferable to throw a coloured dial into the mix. Or Sinn 356 Don't fancy a blasted finish, BUT I've just seen the copper dial version which has a brushed case. I like that ... a ...

Re: In search of number 6
Tried one on back in November. Solid little watch, but the hour hand felt a little disproportionate to me with the smaller dial and lack of dive bezel. Also, I think the 3-handed black dial watch is covered by the GS in my little group. Aesthetics wise, 2 watches that standout for me atm are the Sin...

Re: C60 automatic winding
I spend ~80% of my time at my desk and have had my Trident run out of reserve in the night, even though I thought it had enough juice to see it through to the morning. I never normally wind my C60, but I let it run down and fully wound it as a test. I can't remember how many turns, but it lasted the...

In search of number 6
My ultimate goal over the last few months has been to boil down my collection to 6 watches. Having snared a quartz Seamaster in SC a couple of weeks ago, I now have 5 watches I really look forward to wearing ... http://image.ibb.co/b5Nihn/IMG_20180304_184533.jpg This brings me on to watch number 6. ...

As for the watch, not too shabby either and the strap looks great. I can imagine a distressed mid/dark blue leather strap wou...
