Re: Spinning rotor syndrome on my FLE: Cured?
@Andy-Smith a little too late for me, but thanks for the advice! I don’t think I’ll chance it again. Do you have a link to the thread you posted a few years ago?

Re: My new C60 Sapphire is better than my Breitling, Rolex and Omegas
Your right, that coloured piece of plastic inside really elevates it above the top marque brands you mention. Your disagreement with the OP is clear, but for the sake of accuracy it's actually a layer of blue sapphire and not plastic. I’m 99% sure the color comes from a blue transparent polycarbona...

Re: Spinning rotor syndrome on my FLE: Cured?
In have a Victorinox with exactly this situation! I tend to wear it until it's running and then set the time. How much is a fix likely to be d'you think? (On the assumption it's straightforward and hasn't wrecked the rest of the movement). I can’t be sure, the only other time this happened to me it...

Re: Spinning rotor syndrome on my FLE: Cured?
@rkovars you can’t fully see it in the photo I took, but when I move the rotor I can see 2 interlocking wheels that spin when I turn the rotor. Aren’t those the reverser wheels?

^^^ Not unlikely  I’ll update the thread if/when an issue presents itself. Unless everything runs fine for 5-10 years before needing service, and I forget about this thread! I found a thread about sticking reverser wheels… https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?507566-Here-s-what-happens-when-...

Spinning rotor syndrome on my FLE: Cured?

I didn’t keep this one on a winder, and when I’d pick it up to start it and give it a few winds, the rotor was clearly spinning like a top, no matter how ...

Re: 50th birthday watch - Schofield The Light / General Purpose Field Watch
What a birthday watch! Happy birthday and congrats. I’m REALLY liking it on the pink strap. And the packaging is AMAZING. Thanks for a really good write up. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it over my breakfast. Hope you’re having a good birthday
