Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
It's always out by 4 seconds as well. If CW did its only final checks before shipping and find an issue, then they could send the watch back to Switzerland for fixing and another official QC sign-off, couldn't they? The point is that since final QC is in Switzerland the pre-ship QC procedures might...

Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
The only variable that is glossed over in your writeup is the possibility that the watch indeed did reset to 12 when it left CW. That opens the door to a couple of other questions: 1. Is the packing enough to prohibit the hands from moving in shipment? 2. Is there an issue with the shipper that they...

Re: The JOMW Watch. Erebus Origin.
The hour hand is either too short or too fat. Make it 0.25mm narrower or 1.5mm longer as the current proportions don't work with the seconds hand. I see what they were trying to do here. Typically with that hand design the minute hand is a different color to further differentiate the two. When they...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement
missF Let me tackle these one at a time. I'll throw in your last question too. For myself, I didn't really think about straps at all during the initial dial phase. To be completely honest I wasn't 100% sure I was going to get one for myself as the project was forming up. Once I saw the mockup on th...

Re: Omega PO 42mm after market strap recommendations
There might be some options in here. I grabbed all of the 22 mm CW straps that I have. Some work better than others but they are all pretty good. The canvas really surprised me. I didn't think it would look good but ended up looking rather sharp. CW Tan Canvas 20240222_150733193_iOS.jpg CW black cor...

Re: Omega PO 42mm after market strap recommendations
I would have said a CW cordovan, but they are only available in 20mm now. Would that work? Never mind semi decent, it's phenomenal. I think that the 42 mm have 20 mm lugs so that would work  EDIT to Add: I have a 22mm black cordovan at home (bought it in one of the sales years ago). I'll t...
