Re: C1 Bel Canto (Green)
‘You can get a lot of watch for 5k these days.’ Older Speedy, use Lemania movements bought in. Seamaster, use ETA 2892 bought in anything from the BB line (early version), used ETA 2824 bought in BB Chrono, use Breitling bought in Tudor Chrono use valjoux bought in Sorry a bit lost on this. What was...

Re: C1 Bel Canto (Green)
Module being the keyword. It is still an off the rack movement regardless of how you want to package it. I’m not praising Tudor, just saying for the same money you can get actual movement worthy of 2022. Don’t be mad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk A movement worthy of 2022 hahaha. Oh you mean ...

Re: C1 Bel Canto (Green)
In AUD these start at $5,000, personally I can’t fathom spending that much on something for an off the rack movement. I have a blue BB58 which is a similar price to this. Great watch, love it. But there is a lot more in the complication here than the stepping up of the movement. Very different beas...

Re: C1 Bel Canto Preview
Having been lucky enough to see and hear the watch, I was very impressed. The chime I auditable but not overbearing, the dial does have a great colour. I am not sure about the bracelet, it does look more balanced on the leather. The detailing a amazing. Is it for me unfortunately not, but that Is on...

Re: Bremont join the integrated bracelet club…
Not for me. At £8k there are many better options.
This is the one with the Horage movement in it?
If so Horage’s start from £2.5k, so I don’t understand where all the added cost comes from.

Re: I’ve come to a cross road with CW
I was expecting CW to grow out of microbrands by offering more style or complications either with in house SH21 or JJ varients but market won over for the last 4 yrs I presume. Their new offerings are better quality than ever but my interests in them are heading opposite direction. However, I know ...

Re: Current CW Range.
I’d be curious to see what a chrono version of a 39mm Sealander might look like. You mean chronograph, right? CW being a purchaser of third party movements, I'd also be curious to see how they could pull it off, and would be ready to pay the price for it. Their current chrono offering is way too la...

Re: Dropped models
I have some C5 aviators you could have purchased them in 2006 for about £300 which is there current value. Effectively, if I sold it I would have had a free watch. Not when one accounts for inflation. £300 in 2006 isn’t quite the same as £300 now. As others have said ‘I have used the watch for thos...

Re: Dropped models
Completely agree, CW makes a great watch but they will depreciate. If you follow on EBay how many watches just sit there not being sold? If a Sealander costs £625.00 less the £100 voucher = £525. How much would you pay for a secondhand one £400-£425. On the older models you have to consider a servic...

Re: Slender wrist - C60 Elite
I agree with the advice already given, give it a few days.I Having slender wrists as well I thought that the elite was very tall (15.4mm). The c60 40mm is 13mm tall which for me is more wearable. The new CW C60 3.1v is due to be released soon and that is said to be a bit thinner so that may be an op...

Re: Morgan Sales and SH21 Ltd edition musings
My understanding is that the SH21 is 32.4 mm diameter (from Watchbase) and the Unitas 6497 is 36.6 mm diameter. The later does fit into a 40 mm case. Also, the Oris calibre 400 fits into a 38.5 mm case. Thus, there must be some other technical issue they cannot fit it into a smaller case. The margin...

Re: New 39mm Tudor Ranger…..
I like it but am not rushing to the AD. Give it couple of months and it will be available, then I will go and have a look. But it does look like winner for me.
