Re: Non CW of the Day
This is getting a lot of wrist time at the moment but not surprising as I just can’t stop looking at it 🤦♂️😂 image.jpg Fantastic and congratulations for scoring so soon. I put a deposit down the day it was released and am preparing myself for a long wait. Will consider myself lucky if it arrives w...

Re: A poor man’s worldtimer?
The Vacheron Overseas World Timer includes a few more half hour offsets - Tehran, Adelaide and St. Johns to name a few - but also the 45 minute offset for Kathmandu. Quite remarkable; but unfortunately in another price category altogether...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread
Victor88 mentioned the Tissot Heritage Navigator in another thread here... Karachi and Mumbai are not in the same timezone. India is GMT +5.5. The Tissot Heritage Navigator deals with the half hour offset quite nicely. That sent me looking for the watch, whereupon I cam across this... https://www.n...

Re: A poor man’s worldtimer?
You know what I’d love to see? Instead of a worldtimer built around a GMT complication with 24 cities crammed onto a bezel, give me a standard 3-hander with a rotating bezel showing just 10 or 11 cities around the bezel. Maybe use London as the reference city with 4 or 5 cities that are ahead of Lo...

Re: Pilot watches
Have always found the A-13A pilot watch a handsome chronograph iteration

It’s an ETA Quartz movement although I recall reading somewhere that there were plans for an automatic.

How does one add a datapoint to this? I recently sold my monopusher, but outside the forum.

Packaging for resale
Wondering if forum members re-use original packaging when reselling watches. This is the packaging my C900 arrived in, and contents have been packed the same way they arrived, down to plastic disc on face and caseback. However I suddenly had a doubt on the robustness of the cardboard and wondered if...

Re: Speedmaster Tokyo 2020 “Rising Sun”
By far the most attractive of the five and on my wishlist as well. Nice one! In photos the dial color looks as though it has some grain to it. Does it catch the light or is it matt?

Re: contemplations for a smaller watch
The 38mm Aqua Terra’s are smart but you may be looking to move away from Omega. Master Chronometer accuracy is also a sell for me, but you probably had that with the Railmaster to begin with...

Have any new owners taken the watch underwater yet, either swimming or diving?
