Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview

Has anyone received any sort of confirmation of their email being received? I don't want to sound needy but being GMT+10 I'll be getting up at 0130 to watch this and don't really want it to be in vain. For similar events in the past I've never received any confirmation of receipt email, just the em...

Re: C65 Trident MKII in Summer 2022

Is there any further news or intel to be had on these? I'm eager to see these released in April, but hoping for some leaks (beyond Loupe) before then. The Drawing Board page (pg 12) from Loupe's issue 24 (spring 2022) indicates "the new C65 collection will be released in April". It's Apri...

Just read on FB that they'll be previewed at Worn & Wound's Wind-Up Watch Fair in San Francisco April 22-24.

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale

Congrats to those that found something unique that they purchased, I gave up after waiting 2.5 hours from the expected launch time. Oh well... there's always another watch I'll want in time. All the best to those who bought in!

Re: Well out of COSC spec

The day I received the Dartmouth it was well out of spec. Don’t agree it got magnetised between CW towers and my house. Packages get scanned with all kinds of electronics and even sometimes x-rayed by customs inspectors, don't see how you can be certain it couldn't have gotten magnetized while in t...

Re: Well out of COSC spec

Dave - Have you tried to demagnetize it? Might be worth a shot, sometimes watches can get magnetized in shipping or while in use. There are videos showing how to do it and demagnetizers are available at a reasonable cost on Amazon or from watch accessory vendors. A watch servicer should also be able...

I don't get the pricing on the Nearly New C65 chronograph, it's only 10% off while other NN items are typically 30% off. :?

Re: January 2022 Sale

I noticed that the C65 GMT Worldtimer listed in the sale is designated as V1, but the description states in multiple places that it uses the newer Sellita SW330-2 movement. What then would be different in the V1 version compared to later production... possibly lack of a screw down crown? TIA!

stewartw wrote: Fri Jan 21, 2022 11:17 am Somebody please persuade me I don't need the C60 Abyss GMT on the clearance page. I can't buy *another* CWL this month!
The only ones left are V1 models, while the V2 use the newer Sellita SW330-2 with improved GMT hand setting as well as a power reserve increase to 56 hours.
