C60 Sapphire Black

Here is a picture of The C60 Sapphire Black on my wrist. I absolutely love it. I hope the quality of the photos is ok. Not brilliant but the best I can manage.

Re: The C60 saphire black. Lovely watch, but something's missing

I have taken off the plastic card and looked at the back of it. I have seen the detalals. I apologise to Mike France and this forum. It didn't occur to me and it's all down to me. Thanks for your comments.

The C60 saphire black. Lovely watch, but something's missing

I bought the very first CW watch that was produced and according to the number on the watch I was customer no 365. Since then I have bought another 5 watches from CW, The latest being the the C60 Saphire black. In my opinion it is a beautiful watch and came in a lovely pack. I can't stop looking at ...

Problems paying

I wanted to order a Milanese strap from CW. Unfortunately my Kaspersky anti virus blocked it as a dangerous site based on heuristic analysis. I informed CW customer services of the problem, plus the url, but they never replied. I tried again today and the same message came up. Now I can probably mar...

Re: Chat with Chris 2018 Questions

I have a C70 Grand Prix series special edition watch. You promoted these C70 models quite heavily and I guess they must have been popular. Unfortunately the watch straps for these models are no longer available and the problem is, that they have been 'tailor made' for these watches. I am looking for...

New strap for C70 Grand Prix series

I wrote to CW about replacing my strap, as it is deteriorating slightly and I would like to explore the possibility of getting a new one. They told me that they no longer sell the strap. The problem is that it is not your normal strap fitting and I cannot find anything on the internet. Does anybody ...

Re: 5 to 6 weeks to repair/examine a watch under guarantee

That's fair comment, but it still leaves me frustrated. Of course as long as the watch is properly fixed, that is the most Important factor to consider. I just wanted to know how other peope felt. Everyone has their own perception of time and for me 6 weeks without a newish watch is a long time. I s...

5 to 6 weeks to repair/examine a watch under guarantee

I know this topic has been broached before but I can't find it. It seems an awful long time although I know fixing a mechanical watch is very technical. It strikes me that if it takes this long, either the repair shop is under-staffed or they are overwhelmed with returns. Of course, the priority is ...

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"

I couldn't care less about the logo change. All I am trying to say is that in my opinion the logo is nondescript and I personally would be ashamed to present it to a client and charge a fee for it. I am saying that the logo is an important aspect of buying a watch for many people, otherwise why woul...

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"

Well, CW replaced the watch for me and it is purring along nicely. Timekeeping is excellent and it looks elegant on the wrist. I like the understated look and its a very well built watch. I also like the beautifully polished exhibition back. I am thinking of buying a Milanese bracelet to go with it ...

Re: Problem with Grand Malvern C1 accuracy

I have had a look at your youtube video. It looks to me as if you are winding the watch in the wrong direction. Surely, when looking at the face, you should wind in the clockkwise direction. It looks like you are winding anti clockwise. No wonder it doesn't work. Sorry if I have got the wrong impres...

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"

I bought this watch in grey. I think its elegant but I agree, the absence of a second hand is annoying. I think that Christopher Ward will do their usual and follow this watch up with a second hand, then they will probably do a limited edition, then a COSC version.....and so it goes. I think they le...

Re: Conundrum - to buy or to wait

Yes, that's another annoying marketing ruse. 3 logos in 17 years. Not one of them an improvement on the original. They haven't yet mastered the art of branding imo. Or maybe it's their way of generating repeat orders. Fairly difficult in the watch industry I would imagine.

Re: Conundrum - to buy or to wait

Thanks for your comments. I( have used the voucher code. I actually received it but chucked thinking I had no use for it. In the meantime I dropped my automatic on a hard floor. It stopped working and I think the movement is damaged. So I decided on a new watch. the damaged one was one of the origin...
