Re: CWL of the day

Nice strap, Welshlad, where’s it from? Although I’m ok with it I find myself using my black/orange hybrid v1 less and less in favour of more comfortable straps. I wonder if your strap is more comfortable? Thanks. The strap is a Hirsch Robby. It's from their "performance" range, which has ...

Re: CWL of the day

Changed the strap to a brown Hirsch Tiger today. This watch seems to have the Speedmaster characteristic of looking good on practically any strap. Here's a sunny side-on shot to show some of the 3d nature of the dial... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210612/d2437e973d0e043c9d77972de33d3eac.jpg

Re: Are CW going generally smaller?

Quite obviously based on the last few posts, the data shows a few things depending on how you look at it. 1) There were more votes for watches 39mm and smaller, supporting the tend toward smaller watches. 2) I think what Frank is getting at is that if CW chooses to make an additional size of the se...

Re: Are CW going generally smaller?

We have a poll in the CWA group asking about the preferred size for the Sealander Auto and GMT. The 'trend of smaller watches' doesn't really seem to match with what customers actually want in the Sealander and other watches as shown by the poll results and discussions. 2021-06-10_8-05-06.jpg Membe...

Re: C63 Elite - innovation or gimmick?

I highlighted your remark about the visible movement holder. Why do cheap here, certainly when it is visible through the dial front? It wouldn't have ramped up the cost to put a metal housing in. Just to give an extra perspective, I can't see the movement holder from the dial side on mine. There mi...

Sorry to hear this, Paul. I hope they sort you out with a new one soon, especially as you seem so taken with the watch.

Re: Friendly Knowledge Share of the CWE 2.0 LE

Thanks for posting the details for this. I know how much work goes into completing these designs. I'm sure several members here will be interested. I have the original CWE C60, which is a lovely design. For clarity, is this going to be a 40mm model? I'm presuming so if you are utilising the same bez...
