Re: “The Twelve” is live

The Ti variant is looking really good, specially as it houses sw300-1.
Bought one this year, but this will be on next year shortlist

Re: Is the Sellita SW200 a good movement?

I find it good. I reckon my both sw330-3 and se200 both run within cosc. Sw200 may be a bit loud but thats it. PR leaves a nit to desire…

Re: Sealander vs aquatine vs pro 300

The pro 300 wasn’t out yet when I had to make this choice. I still really want a Sealander but went with the Aquitaine. And, would repeat the decision today. I’m a sucker for vintage inspired dive watches and sunburst dials. What strap is that one? And sorry for derailing Sent from my iPad using Ta...

Re: Customer service and appreciation better or worst?

Well that didn’t go as planned. Had my issues with dhl, took 2 weeks freight time back and forth. Anyways all went well…except the gmt pip between 22 and 24 has come off during the service. Had to double check from original pics. Now this annoys me the most that I send mine in the beginning of July ...

What’s the point? Could’ve returned it to cw?

Re: C65 Aquitane my want want vintage diver

I took this to mean he didn’t think it was equally as good looking as the rest of the watch, as not visually appealing enough to warrant an exhibition caseback. This exactly CW has done really good case, my dial is in good order the movement decoration is a bit lacking. The tropic strap is really n...

C65 Aquitane my want want vintage diver

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the movement isn't up to date with the rest of the components? I took this to mean he didn’t think it was equally as good looking as the rest of the watch, as not visually appealing enough to warrant an exhibition caseback. This exactly CW has done really good ...

Re: Are people warming?

Even as I’m one of those who warmed up from get go, I think Aquitane is a bit niche watch. Kinda like in a same ballpark as other vintage inspired watches. The buying audience will never be as big as of C60/63 This has definetly grown on me as my go to summer watch and while I initially disliked the...

C65 Aquitane my want want vintage diver

Size looks perfect and I agree on the date - usually white under dark is an eyesore but it works here balancing the big white triangle at 12. I thought the wobbly looking hands is what makes it "vintage style" - if you want legibility get a modern watch. Like the C63  I think it’s mo...

Re: C65 Aquitane my want want vintage diver

16,5cm. So I’m out of almost anything going over 48 l2l.
Tbh thinking Aquitane is max but comparing this to other 41mm divers, it wears a lot smaller

C65 Aquitane my want want vintage diver

My journey with CW started with c63 gmt which I liked a lot…still do. After acquiring C63 I wanted a diver, vintage to be specific. Always liked Omega Seamaster heritage models but alas in all honesty those are too expensive for me and I dislike the longish lug-to-lug. More or less eyeing on differe...

CWL of the day

After DHL messing a lot up, I got this https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220510/b82f3b65d605c1a150c0e8a2cf2b0030.jpg I was hunting for vintage diver and lo and behold Aquitane was released. I had peeled on serica and baltic. Neither really did it. Serica had weird bezel and baltic was, imo, not eno...
