Re: JLC - NUTS in a good way
That is pretty amazing. It's fun to watch JLC show off a little. Always have to stop by their showcase when I'm in the shop.
Delugs
Not sure who else has heard of them, but they make the nicest watch bands I've seen, especially in their price bracket. Highly recommended: https://delugs.com/

Re: 1960's Seiko Skyliner

1960's Seiko Skyliner
Grabbed this for a steal last year. I took a little risk and used alcohol to remove the failing dial marks and the result is a much simpler dial. Re: C63 GMT Black dial vs White dial.
Good set of photos! I chose the white dial mostly because I prefer the Explorer II polar vs. the black dial variant. Something about the black on white for this one makes my inner designer happy. My wife also commented that the orange accents on the black dial variant made it look like a "hallo...

Re: NATO's
I've been very happy with Barton as I prefer the RAF style keeper. They have standard nylon and seatbelt: https://www.bartonwatchbands.com

Re: A snappier version of Sealander?
To me, the name invokes more of a land exploration watch that can also dabble in water. And that's how I view what this collection is. I preordered the white GMT last night and when it arrives it will be my primary tool watch. The Hamilton mechanical is great when water isn't going to be much of a c...
