Re: What’s in a name?

Folks, whatever I am doing it's gonna be wrong. If I stated that I am senior designer in Germanys third biggest marketing-/advertising agency it would have come across as advertising. I/we do not want the job to rebrand CW! And we have strict policies in our company. That´s why I registered as a PRI...

Re: What’s in a name?

In addition to pointing out your dislikes here, I might suggest you also contact CW and express your opinions. That's what i did BEFORE i even registered here, of course! Ka..e said she forwarded my dislikes to the designers... the logo has been discussed to death So I cant be that wrong... S...

Re: What’s in a name?

I still like the company and the people who run it. However, looking at my first six posts here, I really don't think I spent five of them running down the company, its branding/marketing, the finishing of the watches, the choice of name and the membership of the forum. No, we don't all wear rose-t...

Re: What’s in a name?

Only 10 more watches sold due to a better name and branding would already give them 10 grand to be wisely invested beforehand.. I think that most companies that go through a re-branding find it quite an expensive process, and there's no guarantee of better sales as a result. And I think, that there...

Re: What’s in a name?

The name, and its position, is much discussed here with many people agreeing with your dislike of it. I agree with you about the Super Compressor bracelet, it looks wrong to me as well. Nough said! 8) Only 10 more watches sold due to a better name and branding would already give them 10 grand to be...

simmo140 wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 3:42 pm I do believe the name itself could be omitted from the watch face and replace with just CW. This would make placement easier as it takes up less room, and the rebrand would only take a font change.
No way! That´d only make it worse/cheaper IMHO!

Re: What’s in a name?

I am pretty new to CW watches. The super compressor brought me in (not bought yet, though). So as an 'outsider' who has NOT become blind to shortcomings in company processes i can say, that the name christopher ward was (and still is) quite off-putting to me. My brain always connects it ...
