C60 Anthropocene bidirectional bezel?

I am curious as to why you think a "proper GMT bezel" should only have 48 clicks. On the surface it would seem that 24 would make more sense. but 48 would allow 1/4 hour increment settings. That said, The C60 Anthropocene has a 24 hour bezel. wouldn't 120 clicks allow even more precise se...

But does it still have 120 clicks like a dive watch bezel, or 48 clicks like a proper GMT should have?

This One Slipped Through QC

Picked this up in the recent sale. Bezel alignment is driving my OCD nuts, so it'll have to go back to CW Towers. The watch is 40mm , so the circumference is around 125mm (pi x d). A 120 click bezel means each bezel click is a smidge over 1mm. That means the maximum the alignment can be out is 0.5mm...

Re: 1 Park Street, Thread

Congrats on the pickup Richard, it looks great on the #tide strap on your wrist! Enjoy it in the best of health. Thank you, I’ve just noticed where you come from. Chicago is my favourite city, I used to be a regular visitor flying in from the UK. Hopefully you'll be able to get back one day in the ...

Re: NPD T4 project

As to be expected, loads of opinions and preferences.

But, having read the thread I believe 2 clear messages have floated to the top;

1. Ditch the current logo in favour of dual flags.

2. Slimmer watch achieved with a reduced 300m depth rating.

NPD T4 project

Dual flags logo (current CW logo is not marmite. Lots of people hate it, many are OK with it, but very few truly like it) Screw link bracelet. Updated, less fiddly micro adjustment. In-house movement optionality (if you want to spend more $$) Display back case option 300m depth rating max may help s...

Re: Dartmouth - Which Strap?

Thanks for all the information and feedback. I have made a decision to buy it on the canvas webbing because I only want to wear this watch on a strap (blue canvas or light/dark brown leather). The male protruding end links of the 22mm bracelet will push the lug to lug well over 50mm which is too big...

Re: Same old, Same old from CW?

As a new buyer of CW watches (my first was a super compressor in the Jan sale), nothing attracted me to the range of CW watches until the last year or two. Prior to that I saw CW watches as a bit of an over fussy design and solid in their price point. I didn’t see them had having a significant edge ...

Thanks for the feedback and I'll have a think. Anyone actually got the canvas webbing strap and can comment?

Dartmouth - Which Strap?

Just sold an old Tag, and I’m going to use the funds to buy a blue Dartmouth, taking advantage of the Loupe code. I have 3 watches on bracelets so I’m going for a strap. Plus with my 6.5 inch wrist a 41mm watch wears smaller on a strap, and I want that look. I have a CW vintage oak leather 22mm stra...

Loupe thread

I got mine too today. The voucher code for £100 off over £500 and valid to 31/10/21 is 100LOUPE22. scooter Haven't received my copy yet, but just verified the new US code is 125LOUPE22 for $125 off. 8) Not quite as good as the U.K. given £1 = $1.38. But console yourself by not having to pay 20% U.K...

40mm C60 Trident Pro GMT

I bought the 40mm GMT watch in the summer sale, and I have been looking online for the specs of this watch. All I can find is that the GMT watch was made in 38 or 42mm sizes. I can find no reference to the 40mm size for the GMT version. Was it a late addition to the range? Anyone got a link to the s...
