Re: Credit where it's due...
Just sent my COSC Dartmouth series 1 back to CW Towers for regulation for the second time. Running +20 secs/day. Not expecting it back until the autumn. Had a message from CW to say, surprise-surprise, we have gone or may go over our customer promise on your repair schedule. Sent me a free watch po...

For me, the series 1 I have is a more handsome watch.

Re: Summer sale ?
I am done with CW sales. I enjoyed them for a year or two for the novelty factor and the thrill of chasing some bargains, but I have now moved on.
I still have four nice watches to show for it though.

Re: Summer sale ?
Wow, "Sale" prices are not far off full retail prices from 3 or 4 years ago. Yes I know inflation, supply chains etc but I'm pretty sure plenty of C60 & C65 autos pre covid were <£300. Not knocking anyone who has bought something today, just not for me. I bought a Trident Pro 600 on b...

CW Straps
The watches maybe competitive in price but CW are having a larf on watch strap prices. Inflation (plus some) running hotter on straps than butter, eggs and milk. 80 squid for a Tide strap and £90 for some leather and rubber straps! Taking the Michael. Think I’ll stick with the sub £7 rubber straps I...

Re: (Not) COSC Dartmouth
I can’t answer the last two questions, unfortunately, but you say it has only been worn a handful of days over the last 12 months. Sometimes mechanical movements need a day or two to get working properly after a long layoff. Wear it for a few days and see what picture emerges. Only a handful of day...

(Not) COSC Dartmouth
My 15 month old NN Dartmouth has already been back to CW Towers straight after it arrived, as it was well running well over 20 secs/day. I have only used it a handful of days over the last 12 months and is now running +12 secs day, well outside the COSC spec of -4/+ 6 secs per day. How long is COSC ...

Re: Which brand did you "upgrade" to after Christopher Ward?
I came to CW after a TAG and then a Rolex Sub (which I still have). Got bored of all of the hype and expense of the traditionally popular watch brands, and prefer less hype.

Wearing a CW in london
This has been an interesting thread to follow. As a number of people have pointed out, the fundamental issue here is to simply have your wits about you when in any big city, not just London. You really don’t need to have your wits about you when in London. It is not an unsafe place for cracking on ...

Wearing a CW in london
Walk around the posh parts of the West End and count how many Louis Vuitton, Channel and Hermes handbags you see, each worth multiples of your CW watch on the second hand market, and much easier to pinch. Relax, everybody. London is not the crime den of iniquity the Daily Heil and Daily Sexpress may...

Re: Wearing a CW in london
Surely this thread is tongue in cheek coupled with a bit of mild hysteria? Would you wear a CW watch, which mostly have a resale value of £500, in London? I think the op is getting carried away with watches on a whole different level and in the multi tens of thousands of pounds, such as AP, PP and R...

Re: C60 Trident 300 lead times
No, you can only buy online or in the Maidenhead showroom. But, if there out of stock it is unlikely you will be able to buy in the showroom.
If you are desperate you can try a reseller or maybe a WTB in sales corner, but suggest patience is probably the best solution.

Re: Misaligned bezels on CW divers
My Trident Pro 600 GMT had bezel misalignment. I was amazed it passed some sort of QC as it was so obvious. Took 6 weeks at CW Towers to get it sorted.
