Re: New 63 running bit fast

I just got my red version and I thought I didn't get lucky like I did with my blue version which was avging +1s/day. OOTB, the red one was averaging 10s/day. I checked to see if it was magnetized and it was in some places so I demagnetized it and now it's roughly half at 5s/day. That's kind of weird...

Re: Received watch back from "repair" and performance is absolutely horrendous

It was fine when I first got the watch then it went to roughly +10/s day. Again, normally I wouldn't care since it's still not that bad but paying the extra price for the COSC spec, I expect the COSC spec to stay. Now it's way worst and I don't know what caused it but I only sent the watch head back...

Re: Received watch back from "repair" and performance is absolutely horrendous

QC at CW is not great right now nor has been for sometime. My latest purchase, arrived today, was a Colchester. I’d requested a hybrid black strap and it arrived on a black/white tide strap. In the last twelve months this has happened FOUR times. Bring back Vallen Hardy I say. Offtopic but I love t...

Re: Received watch back from "repair" and performance is absolutely horrendous

I tried demagnetizing as well but no results and I used the Lepsi app on my iPhone to check if it was magnetized. Every time my watches were magnetized, they were always running very fast, not slower so I don't believe magnetism is the culprit. I don't wear this watch much so I don't mind the wait a...

Received watch back from "repair" and performance is absolutely horrendous

My C60 Lympstone went out of COSC spec so I sent it back. It took a while but finally received it back today. Of course, the first thing I did was put it on the timegrapher (Weishi model 1900) and it was averaging -20s/day! Thought it was my timegrapher so I tested my c63 36 and everything was fine ...

Love the watch so much, ordered another one in red. This time without the bracelet since I already have one. Lol

Re: New Sealander colors coming Thursday.

Ah ok, I did not opt for that model. Lol Just resized mine and it wasn't as easy as I thought, stupid double screws lol Why can't they just use a single side screw like everyone else?? You will be looking back at the good old days of pin and collar such is the PITA of trying to work with this crapp...

Re: DHelL's new low and an unwelcome CW CS response

The watch did arrive on Friday. Oddly enough I found it on my doorstep and even though I should have had to sign for it they never rang the bell. They just left the watch and ran. At least it arrived... c63highlander.jpg Lovely Highlander. As much as I'd like to blame the "dump and run" o...

Re: New Sealander colors coming Thursday.

Just got my lucerne blue and I saw screwed links! When did this happen? I recall all my previous CW watches were pin and collar and were always a pain to size, even my c63 GMT.

I'm definitely not going to use the colored strap so maybe there are others like me who are willing to sell/trade them.

I actually feel the same.

Re: New Sealander colors coming Thursday.

Sorry, I didn't know where MOD10 came from, I just googled for promo codes. Lol It came out to ~778 USD for me when purchased using EUR. Would've liked to use a loupe code but couldn't find one that is active.

Re: New Sealander colors coming Thursday.

Not sure if this is frowned upon (let me know and I'll delete) but those shipping to the US can select the EUR since it's close to the USD now. Be sure to use a CC without any foreign transaction fees. With the MOD10 promo code, the cost is below the 800 USD threshold for additional duties for the b...

Re: C63 Colchester

^^^ That looks great. I’m a big fan of the Barton elite silicone for an inexpensive yet comfy and good looking strap. I love those straps too but they are dust magnets. I switched between my FKM, leather, and canvas straps but kept going back to the original two tone #tide strap as it looks the bes...
