Hahaha! That's just for the new date wheel. The watch itself was a pretty good deal at $275 USD. That's partially why I was ok putting a bit more money into it.

The way it should have come from the factory?
It still has the beat-up/touched-up bezel that was the subject of a previous post about the watch's misadventure trying to travel to CW, But I love the way it looks with the new date wheel. I found it on ebay for $17 USD, and it took two months to arrive in the USA from Greece. A local watchmaker sw...

Re: Bezel inserts
International movement of watches being sent back for repair. I don't recall the exact details but I had to send a watch back to the maker in Switzerland a few months ago and they very capably guided me through the process to prevent import and taxation charges being raised incorrectly, why they mi...

Final update: After exactly six weeks, the box showed up in my mailbox. The package had a Royal Mail sticker attached that said, " We were unable to deliver this item because:" the box checked was "Not called for" There was also a Customs charge label attached, and while blacked ...

Re: Bezel inserts
This part of the delay is not really CW’s fault. International shipments to seem to be taking an extra 2-3 weeks - mostly between leaving one country and being checked into the second, and it’s because some of the processing centres are running on skeleton staff. I understand this. And that's fine....

Re: Used watch prices
If you haven't done anything with this yet, I recently got what I consider a very fair price for my Omega Aqua Terra from Bob's Watches. Process was very fast and painless.

Re: C65 Chronograph - New Release October '20
Decent, a little busy, but I think they should have chosen orange OR red (I prefer the former) not both. I'm done with mechanical watches, so I don't need to worry about being tempted by this (or any other future CW.)

Re: CW strap greater selection menu option?
I love this idea, but it would definitely be easier to achieve in the showroom than online. When i visited JS Watch in Reykjavik, they did exactly this. Pick your watch, and they bring out the strap book with all straps of the corresponding size. Top row is included at the posted price. Second row ...

Re: Bezel inserts
I have asked them, and they want to see the watch before quoting, and for what must be a fairly basic thing to do I would have thought they would have a set price. I agree. I spent $16 sending the watch (C7 Rapide Chronograph Mk II COSC LE) to them (cheapest method I could do while still having a t...
