Re: Smiths Transglobal PRS-54 from Time Factors

I thought the pink dial presented very well.

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

Seriously, you would think they might consider a bigger range of colours and sizes of straps, to give buyers a wider choice. Many (most?) OEMs don't limit their strap ranges to just the standard straps they sell on the watches. CW straps aren't exactly overpriced compared with most manufacturers.

Re: A celebration of colour

I'm not sure about the gold casing. It would be nice to see the same dials in stainless to compare them.

Re: Rolex on Posh Pawnbrokers

Yes. A UK TV programme showing high end pawnbrokers. There's also posh pawn (prestige pawnbrokers).

Not at all to be confused with Les on hardcore pawn on 8 mile road on Detroit.

Rolex on Posh Pawnbrokers

Yesterday, Wednesday they had a Rolex Daytona with aftermarket pink diamonds, for £6000. The owner had the diamonds added to bling it up. Today they had a 1958 Rolex bracelet watch dripping with factory set jewels that only fetched £3200 I just can't see how these sort of prices correspond to the pr...

Incoming - It's Like The Sopranos

I was nearly out, and they pulled me back in. I tried to resist the green AT Homage with as long as I could, but that AliExpress discount code made all the difference. My first green watch, your honour. Anyway, here's the new green Phylida (NH35A), with sunray dial, and the existing white Corgeut.(a...

Re: MKIII Bracelet Half-Links Are In!

I think pins and collars are awful things Is there any way you can insert a split pin instead of a pin and collar. I bought a box of split pins in assorted sizes (I have 6mm to 23mm - similar to a box of assorted spring bars) and that might be easier than trying to find replacement pins and collars....

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

I had an email from Invicta this morning to inform me that they are getting supplies of the 1953 in shortly, in various colours. I know there is not a lot of love for Invicta, but the 1953 has been well reviewed. If the price is no more than £100 or so, they are very good value. 1953 is based on the...

Thanks for that. I was trying to copy the link on my phone which I find hard enough anyway. I must have had that trailer instead. I didn't check it, I just assumed I had the right link.

Re: Tribus Watches

Here's my view I think the watch industry must be one of the most difficult, although to be fair all industries are difficult. I am sure many on this site can point to their own industries being equally competitive. At the cheap end of the watch industry you are coming into competition with the low ...
