Re: Euros (Football)

Watching Italy v Wales now….. The Germany v Portugal game was a great spectacle and the Germans looks to have regained their confidence after their disappointing start against France. That group looks very tasty now with the mathematical possibility of any of the 4 qualifying. And if England win th...

Re: Buying advice

I just had an email reminder from CW this weekend that 100LOUPE21 ( variants for sterling/dollars/euros) is still running.

Euros (Football)

I can't see a thread about this.. It occurred to me that the idea of promoting the best 3rd place teams means that the final round of group matches starting this evening still gives all the teams something to play for. I imagine any nation ending on 3 points might still go through as a third place f...

Re: Free limited edition AM GT 1VEV CW watch up for grabs

I'm poised with my guess, but should I win it will only be to send it back to you with a different (additional) strap, as @iain suggested some time ago. In fact if there's a way of making your home address available to the forum members, I am sure you would be inundated with straps. What width do yo...

Re: Nato advice for C60 Trident Pro 600 Blue 42mm

I think NATO's are so cheap you can play around with colours for not much money. Get a couple of cheap ones and see if you actually like the way they feel. After spending about £70 on assorted NATO's, I think I have come to the view that I am not that keen on the look of the doubled-back tie off. Th...

Re: Teddy Baldasarre Video

He's clearly not self promoting. I don't know whether he is an AD for any of those brands, but he's certainly not for CW and his comments would appear to be unprejudiced. I thought he said Triton as well, but realized he meant Trident, whatever he said.

Re: GShock metal conversion

I didn't realize Ali Express deal with the vat. I didn't think they were, and I was going to get a £8 RM handling charge with any purchase. Just paying the vat isn't an issue really. someone pointed this out to me, so Ali Express is back on for me now.

Re: GShock metal conversion

I am pretty sure Jody on Just one more Watch did the same thing. Worth finding his video and comparing notes

Here's his metal g shock. He also did a titanium one, and various other things that might interest you.

Re: Friendly Knowledge Share of the CWE 2.0 LE

I think that basic design is great. I am pretty sure you could replace the blues with greens, reds or maybe even oranges with corresponding hues/saturations, and get equally strong variants. Maybe short runs are doable if all are pre ordered. That's all Kickstarter is really, isn't it, and CW would ...

Re: 5 Watches For €1500 Each

I can't understand the objection to a watch brand name. So many brands have a person's name. Some just surname, others the whole name. Shop names on the high street are similar. Just crazy. Have we all got to stop wearing Calvin Klein's, and Ralph Lauren? My given name is David, and I particularly e...

Re: Buying advice

The sale is great but it's first come first served and items go instantly. Be prepared to compromise, and you will get some great options. Really there's no bad CW watches, just some you like more than others. Buy one at a time and checkout by PayPal to save time. Last time CW cancelled orders for p...

@what-time-is-it

Well spotted That was some spot. :D I need an eagle-eyes icon.

Mind you, I was browsing on a mobile, rather than a PC. Probably rather easier to catch on a big screen.
