Re: Trade time Bracelet
The bracelet isn't the end of the world. You can always switch the bracelet for a strap, and they always pick up scuffs anyway, over time.

Re: Benjamin James Kickstarter
There's also a link to an attractive looking Italian Alcadus watch (sector dial type with a micro rotor) at the bottom of the above listing (for the moment)

Has anyone looked at this? It's a square integrated bracelet design in both quartz (ronda) and auto (sellita) variant, both 8.3mm thick. Day 1 prices are £266 Quartz and £460 Auto. (30% off) (went live at 3pm I think), so some time left. I can't see postage costs, possibly included. Already fully fu...

Re: C7 Rosso Corsa Service
Good to see it's running well again. :D I've only ever had a watch serviced once, with no idea of what was going on, really. Nowadays with more knowledge, there's 2 main points I think. A standard service, strip down, clean, lubricate and adjust accuracy if necessary ought to be easy for a competent...

The dials look the same to me, but I prefer the silver bezel I think.

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
Interestingly Jody just popped up with a reverse panda hand wind chronograph for a mere $399, but just over 15mm thin. Not for me, that one.

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
So much hate for quartz around here. What's not to like? They are still a marvel of modern engineering.,.. To throw a curveball, could it be Mecca quartz, quartz with mechanical chronograph?? I don't think it's so much hate for quartz, as just loss of interest in quartz. That's how I felt. I was ha...

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
If it's a quartz chronograph I imagine there will be some grumbles about CW 'going back on their word' about quartz. I don't think it should bother CW too much. There were grumbles from some when they stopped producing quartz watches as it was seen as turning their backs on their value proposition,...

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
In passing, a speedmaster is 13mm thick. I'm currently coverting a handwoudf AliX which is showing as 13mm also. The studio underdog which I think has the same movement is showing as 13.6mm. My RW Freelancer (auto) is stated as 13.7mm Never say never, but under 12mm sounds more like a quartz. My exc...

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner
Well, I just watched an absorbing documentary from Michael Portillo, about Singapore. I think it was an older production, as it mentioned the port going to be developed in 2021.
I then watched the 1% Club, and had a mare. Got loads of questions wrong.

Re: Tudor, and myself, Anoyance factor 10 ! And an apology.
Hello there I've had my Pelagos 39 for sale here and elsewhere for quite a while. And I even sold it previously, then it came back to me, none of the previous owners or myself, spotted the tiny spec of dust, under the Crystal, it is very tiny ! This is the second time I've had a Tudor with this iss...
