Re: Christopher Ward Survey
If you could do that clearly something is wrong and C.W. they should do something about it because the end result will not be the right one. Once an individual can complete a survey more than once, the results become invalid. I've just completed the survey myself and I have to say it seems very bad...

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
So much hate for quartz around here. What's not to like? They are still a marvel of modern engineering. Perhaps the "post a picture from your latest ride" should feature more horses ... I like (some) mechanical watches and some quartz watches, there's space for both in my world. I think t...

Re: Tudor, and myself, Anoyance factor 10 ! And an apology.
I'm so disappointed with Tudor, but more with myself, for not noticing I think you are being a bit hard on yourself here: If it is dust, it could easily have been resting on one of the lighter coloured parts of the watch and thus not visible. On the other hand - last year I was on holiday, sat in t...

Re: The Curmudgeons Corner
I was watching an episode of "The Chase" (a UK quiz show) earlier this week. Th host, Bradley Walsh, asks the contestants what job the do. One said that he worked in the electric car infrastructure business and started babbling on about how electric cars are the future, the internal combus...

Re: Watch Storage
I've no idea what the "correct" answer is - or even if there is a correct answer. Personally I give my mechanical watches a bit of movement every now and then if I'm not wearing them, but I'm not even convinced by the "keeping them lubricated" argument either. The one thing I wou...

Re: Leather strap cleaning
Well, what do you clean your skin with? Using soap will dry out the leather so you'll need to condition afterwards.
If leather conditioner doesn't darken the leather, it isn't working.conditioned it a few weeks after and it doesn’t even look like the same strap.

Re: Bezel uses
I use the bezel for timing all the usual suspects especially cooking. Yes, my oven has a timer, but I don't take it out into the garden etc. I even use the bezel when swimming to make sure I don't overrun on the car park or get too cold in the sea.

Re: I need some positive energy
Hi Drew A bit late to this thread, but it rings true for my situation from a few years ago. Left a place I had worked at 26 years, and the last few were not good. Walked out on my last day and never looked back. Now, I'm not you and you aren't me - but what I would say to you if we were having a pin...

According to Wikipedia (make of that what you will) 1.1% of the world population are millionaires (USD) or more wealthy, so not such a big stretch.0.2% of the world) bought a Swiss “luxury” watch

Re: Auto winding effort
Do you wear your watch on your dominant or non-dominant arm, and do you think it makes a difference? Right handed and wear watch on left wrist. If I'm walking around outdoors or indoors, well - my left hand goes everywhere my right hand does. Some tasks, I drive a manual car so my left hand gets mo...

Re: Welcome to The Inside Track
I agree, whether (or not) we choose to visit the "inside track" it does rather change the dynamic. Not quite so independent now.t's a big move - between CW and forum - to create space for direct CW input here.
